My son is an auto mechanic and prefers this soap to all other products he has tried. I keep a bar for cleanup from occasional messy work at my home too. The fragrance is nice and my hands are not dry feeling after use.
My gas can is getting older, and these days it usually leaks some gasoline on my hands. After I fill riding mower, I head inside, wash with soap--in the old days, the Zest I'd used, and these days, Soapworks factory regular soaps. None completely removes the smell of gasoline, so I always finish with an Orange scrub meant for mechanics--leftover from before I started buying the gardner and mechanics soaps. That Orange scrub always leaves my hands feeling dried out. Tonight, I used my mechanics soaps, double-washing the hands the way I do with the soap before moving on to the orange scrub. This time, I sniffed my hands, couldn't believe it. NO ucky smell of the gasoline. And my hands feel nice, just like after using all of the Soapworks Factory soaps. GAME CHANGER! That soap's gonna get its own soap dish and be upstairs, instead of in the basement for use after projects.
I have not found anything the Mechanic Soap won't cut. It cleans my hands Better then anything else I have used.
